Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

GNExT Automatix is a Bangalore-based home automation and IoT company that designs and manufactures wireless retrofit smart home products in India. Under the DPDP Act we are the Data Fiduciary — the organisation responsible for your personal data.

2. What we collect

What you send us

The consultation form asks for your name, phone number, professional profile, city, the solution you are interested in, and any notes you add.

Important: that form does not store your answers on this website — there is no server-side database here. Submitting it opens WhatsApp (or your own email app) with your answers already filled in, so you decide whether to send. Whatever you send then reaches us over WhatsApp, so Meta’s privacy policy applies to that message too.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are useful. It records the pages you view, how long you spend, where you came from, your approximate country and city, and your device and browser.

It does not record your name, email or phone number — this site never sends those to Google.

Stored on your device

One item: gnext-theme, which remembers your Daylight or Twilight colour choice. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

What we do not collect

• No account or registration data — there are no accounts.
• No payment or financial details.
• No precise location, camera, microphone or contacts access.
• No health, biometric or other sensitive data.
• No advertising profiles, and no data shared with data brokers.
• No personal data from children.

3. How we use it

• To answer you — to reply, quote and follow up on the conversation you started.
• To improve the website — aggregated analytics show us what people actually read.
• To keep the site secure and working.
• To keep business records that Indian law requires.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.

4. Cookies and analytics

A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep. This site uses:

• _ga and _ga_<container> — set by Google Analytics to tell visitors apart, for 13 months;
• gnext-theme — your colour choice, until you clear browser data;
• YouTube cookies — only if you press play on a demo video.

There are no advertising cookies, no remarketing pixels and no social media tracking — the social icons in our footer are ordinary links that do nothing until you click them.

Your consent. Analytics requires consent under the DPDP Act. This site does not show a cookie banner; we rely on your continued use as consent and give you a clear way out. To stop being measured, use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, switch on “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” in your browser, or simply email us.

5. Who else sees your data

Only these outside services are ever contacted by this website:

• Google LLC — Google Analytics, Google Fonts and YouTube. Your analytics data may be processed outside India, which the DPDP Act permits.
• Meta (WhatsApp) — carries an enquiry only if you choose to send one. We receive nothing otherwise.

We have no advertising partners. Our footer links to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn — clicking them takes you away from gnext.in, and we get nothing from that click.

6. How long we keep it

• Enquiries — up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
• Analytics — Google’s default of 2 months for event-level data.
• gnext-theme — until you clear your browser’s site data.
• Anonymous, aggregated statistics — kept indefinitely, as they can no longer be linked to anyone.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you can:

• Access — ask what personal data we hold about you.
• Correct and erase — fix what is wrong, and have data deleted when we no longer need it.
• Withdraw consent — at any time, free of charge.
• Redress grievances — complain to a named officer and get a response.
• Nominate — appoint someone to exercise these rights for you.

We extend every one of these to all visitors, wherever they live. To use them, email sales@gnext.in with the subject “Privacy request”. We reply within 30 days, never charge, and may ask only for proof of identity. Unhappy with our reply? You can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Contact us

Also worth knowing

• Children — this site is for homeowners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
• Security — this site stores no personal data on a server, so there is no database to breach. It is served over HTTPS.
• Changes — if this policy changes, we update this page and revise the date at the top.

This policy applies to gnext.in only, not to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or YouTube, which have their own terms.
